Mail Call

I have gotten such wonderful things in the mail lately. Here is a card that Kai sent me. Don't you love its Halloween goodness. It makes me want go out and buy some candy corn.

Then Lisa sent me my mermaid from the Mermaid Swap I was in. Just the package was a work of art. Here is the front, the back was all scaly looking and glittery but does not seem to photograph well.

Here are the mermaids and they are fantastic. The large one willhang in my ocean inspired room and the other in my Art studio. Such fantastic work, thanks Lisa.

I also got a charm from another swap I am in. Angel sent a charm made from a snap that is all beaded. I think I will wait for all the charms to show up and I will add a group shot.

Here is the journal page I did this morning. As you can see I am continuing to try and draw faces. I plan to do one every day and by the end of a month I am sure I will be better at it and I will be more comfortable doing it.

Be Brave Challenge: I decided to continue on with all this computer things that I want to learn how to do but haven't. I wanted to put a link in to information about the book I am writing about my grandparents. I needed to find a way to store a file so people could click on the link and see the information. I could put in a blog entry and just link back to it but I thought this might work better. I still have not worked out all the kinks yet but I will.

I was not that successful with the banner yet. When you finally see a banner picture on this blog you'll know I have conquered that obstacle.

Sweet Kate,
Mastering the ways of the blog takes time...I know...I am still trying too.
I know you'll get it down soon!
Your mail from the lovely Kai and the sweet Oceandreamer is so uplifting, just as those two are in real life. Their mail is like an extension of them. So beautiful, for a nice deserving lady,
YOU!

I'm so glad they arrived and you liked them! I love that she'll be hanging in your ocean theme room.
You know what, I am doing faces all the time...it's the thing I always seem to gravitate to. I still have issues with features so practicing in my journal helps to try things out. Yours look great. Hands are a real issue for me too, but I just keep trying or I end up hiding them.
You'll get this computer thing, I know you will. Again, it's all a matter of trial and error and then Voila!
Oh and great card from my oceansis Kai!!!
Looking forward to seeing more of your pages!
XOXO

Great stuff! The journal pages you worried about (previous post) are wonderful. I don't know why you worry. They are a work of art in themselves. If you want more, just add a few words. They are very good!
