The Cranes have landed

These are cranes that Sarah made and then hung from her ceiling. They twirl around and look better than the pictures can show. She wanted me to send her a picture of them, so I thought I'd share it here too!

This week seems to be devoted to weaving. I really want to get this blanket woven. I have worked on for a few hours every day. I just might be able to finish it tomorrow. I will share some pictures of the finishing process and the completed blanket soon.

It got cold again, wind chill last night was -20. I think it was about -11 or something like that. Its taken a long time to warm up today. No sunshine today. In between weaving I have been spinning more of the Blue faced leicester. I have 2 bobbins spun, one more to go and I will be plying it and then I will learn if what I trying to do will work.

The new phone is working out great. I haven't figured out the wireless headset yet. Instead of turning it off I kept redialing the number. Luckily it was just Sarah so she was entertained.

All these Heart Art giveaways on everyones blogs are so cool and inspiring. I'd like to do something too but haven't a clue what or if I can get in that create mode quickly and actually make something people will want too. I can't seem to break away from the loom to come up with something. I'll give it a shot though.
