I took someones advice and bought myself flowers for my birthday. A dozen roses were the same price as a bouquet of mixed flowers so I opted for the roses and aren't they just beautiful. What pleasure I have gotten out of a 6.99 purchase. I need to do this more often. I had a wonderful birthday. A special thanks to all of you who sent me birthday greetings, you are the best.
I had fun playing around with the camera trying to get some close ups. I thought this was just lovely.
Here is a painting/collage that I have been working on. I was trying out Kelly Rae's way of collaging with decorative papers. I was using her wonderful book Taking Flight. Its was a fun project. I really learned a lot. Here's to trying new things.
