The Hobbit

Those of us who loved the Lord of the Rings trilogy have been waiting for this day.

Peter Jackson and New Line Cinema have reached agreement to make J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit," a planned prequel to the blockbuster trilogy "The Lord of the Rings." See here for details.

I know Jackson will do a great job not like some other directors of late that leave so much out of the book they are filming that they seem like a different story entirely.

That has been my favorite book since my daddy read it to me at bedtime the year I was in kindergarden. I thinks I'll have to make him be my date for the movie.

I think if anyone can handle making it properly, it's Pete. He is so passionate about getting it *right*. Im glad he's on board for this project. Ty for the info Kate.
Peace, Kai

The only downside is that PJ is producing, not directing. :(
