Dan Fogelberg

The world lost another gentle poet from my youth. His songs always touched my heart. His album the Innocent Age was played constantly in my household. I loved Run for the Roses and Same Old Lang Syne and Leader of the Band and Longer and Part of the Plan, and so many more, what awesome music he made. His words always spoke to my heart. You can leave messages here My world is a sadder place today, I think I go put on some of his music.

Dammit..I just came from Kai's blog and found out! I am deeply upset...I have always adored Dan Fogelberg. I saw him 5 times in concert! I loved Twin Son's of Different Mothers.

I was SO sad to learn of his passing yesterday. I've been a fan of his for years(will continue to be). I suggested his song "Longer" for my best friend's wedding 27 yrs ago and they used it. The music world has indeed lost a poet.
XOXO

Hi Kate, I wrote a post about losing Dan Fogelberg on my blog too. He's been my "friend" since I was 11 years old. I vow to keep his memory alive by playing his music often though. Beverly
