Lady in the Water

I saw Lady in the Water over the holidays and have to admit it was fantastic, not the horror story that the commercials portrayed it as. The critics panned it but I thought it was so cool. It really is more of a spiritual movie. I am recommending it highly. I really like M. Night Shyamalan's movies. I really like the premis of the movie, the idea that all these people are drawn to me to help me along on the path I have chosen to live. The way that is portrayed in the movie is great.

I decided to just dive into this new book project. Today I looked at all the letters my grandparents wrote for the locations that they wrote from. Then I made an excel file of all the locations that the letters were written from. I have 5 locations in England 7 in Ireland and 16 in New York State. I would like to visit all these places. I also discovered they were married in Wigan, England. I always assumed it was Ireland. I have been unable to locate the passenger manifests on the Ellis Island Website. I know my grandmother took the boat over several times so maybe I am not searching correctly or something. Another thing I plan to do is to organize all the hundreds of things I am going to have to do for this project. Its time to make some of them into baby steps, otherwise the task becomes too overwhelming.

It seems hard trying to get back to a routine after the Holidays. My daughter doesn't go back to school until the 21st so normal will not happen till after then. I wish my copy of the Secret would show up I need the lift it will give. I also ordered Collage Unleashed and a new writing book called Chapter by Chapter that I am anxious to read. Yes I am impatient, I want it all now.

Sounds like you have a lot of good stuff going on. I want to see the Secret and now I want to see Lady of the Lake. I like his stuff too but had stayed away from this one because it did look like a horror movie. Thanks for clearing that up!

I really enjoyed Lady in the Water; it seemed like a modern-day fairy tale to me.

How fascinating to have such interesting family history to research. Wishing you the best of luck with that and all your endeavors this New Year. Happy Glittering New Year to you!
