Back to square one

Well I tried going to the physical therapist to exercise and it was really painful. So I went home, called the Doctor and they gave me some song and dance where I should be waiting 7-10 days to do anything. Now my note from the surgical center said 2 days it is so annoying when you have conflicting information. So it is back to ibuprofen and ice. I had the shot believing it would work right away and now that it hasn't and I am in worse shape than before I am just a little annoyed. I've also had some kind of stomach virus or something. I thought it was eating dairy two days in a row but it continues so maybe it is some kind of bug after all.

I did get to the Art room and made my ATC's for the Frida swap so that really felt good. I have come up with a few ideas for the Crow book swap. I have some images picked out and a phrase for the back that I like. I picked up a pad of watercolor paper and cut 22 4 x 4 pieces, so at least the surface is ready. I found some yarn at Michaels to use as an embellishment for a $1, just the price I like. I have picked up a few things here and there this week. I am hoping that they all come together now.

It actually warmed up here and snowed a little. Its only going down to zero tonight. Then I think all this cold will leave for a little while. That will be welcome for sure. There doesn't seem to be anything I want to write about tonight.

I found my drum stick tonight, no I didn't have chicken for dinner. I have an Native American style drum and want to start going to drumming circles again but have not been able to find it. I hate it when I put something in a place it doesn't belong.

Kate I am so sorry you aren't getting any relief and now the stomach thing on top of it. I so hope these doctors and PT people get this sorted out and stop conflicting with one another.
It's nice to know you still managed to get some art done though, you're a trooper!
I think a drum circle would be so amazing.
XOXO
Love,
Lisa

Dear Kate.. Im sorry to hear about your tummie and I hope what ever ailes it will stop soon and you will be back to good.

I'm glad you have continued to create and produce artful moments as your time allows..
The trip to Michaels sounds fruitful!!

Im happy the drumstick turned up again..I have to keep my instruments close or they'd disappear into the house and be taken by my naughty dust bunnies..
The drum circle sounds enchanting!! Last time I was fortunate enough to experience one was in Hawaii!!!
PEace, Kai.
