Charleston here we come

I leave tomorrow for that beautiful Southern City Charleston. Am I ready, no am I packed no, am I excited, you bet. I won't be back to a computer in the morning unless mine gets magically fixed which seems unlikely. This will be my last post for awhile.

I have been talking about this trip for so long that it is really amazing that it is finally here. I think to see the entire Thread Project displayed is really going to be quite incredible. I don't really think I can imagine how that is going to feel. After that whirlwind of activity I get to meet another Internet friend, Pam and that is really going to be so much fun. I think I will be inspired for months afterwards.

I will be gone until next Thursday. I hope by then Dave has fixed the computer by then. I'll be back with lots of pictures and wonderful stories to tell.

Have you ever been to Charleston before? If not, you are in for a wonderful treat. I was there years ago. Just to walk along the Battery is enough of a treat, but there so many wonderful things to do!!! We really pigged out on seafood every night at different places. (Recommendation: Places along Shem Creek.) We did all the tourist stuff (carriage rides, the open market, house tours, etc., and we had an extra treat as we were there for "Piccolo Spoleto", the little music festival. Enjoy.

Kate....I don't know how else to get in touch with you. I know you are in SC...but I got a "message" from you on my email saying you were somewhere else (out of the US) and needed $$$.

I don't want to bother you on your vacation but wanted your to know because they used a blogspot address. Please email me when you are able. I printed out the letter supposedly from you and can pass it on when you want to follow up.
