Knitting group

I went to my knitting group this morning, I don't get much knitting done but I do enjoy the company. My friend Annette who had surgery Friday is not doing well so that was hard to hear. She is such a bubbly positive person. She is back in for a second surgery to remove cancer and the prognosis is not good. Send some cheer her way if you can.

Then I went to lunch with my friend Ginger. We hit the Brownstone and I have been craving a good burger. It was a nice lunch and now I am back home trying to get Sarah motivated to do something. Its her day off so she just likes to do nothing. I figure if we only have 3 weeks left its time to work in some excursions together.

Last night I had another mishap. I was barefoot and sitting on the couch my dog Flynn wanted to play and I went to scoot his ball with my foot and apparently at the same time he decided to grab the ball. Here I am screaming my head off and D has no idea what is going on. I know have a hole in my 2nd toe under the toe nail and the nail is cracked. It felt like my foot should be bleeding all over but there was not a drop of blood or skin scraped. It hurt so much I couldn't believe there was nothing else wrong. It felt much better today but I am beginning to wonder why I keep creating these mishaps.

I ventured into the Art room and played a little today. Just the beginnings of the Heart Book pages that I need to get done. I don't know where I want to go with it so I mainly did a background. Hopefully I'll get some inspiration soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.
I am glad you got out for a bit though and the company is good!
BUT OMG with your foot...I would have screamed too and no doubt cried. I'm glad to know it wasn't worse today.
As for the mishaps...maybe they are all out of the way now. :)
XOXOXO

The news of your friend is disheartening. I hope so much that she pulls through and finds strength to heal. I will send some happy healing thoughts to both of you.
Your toe, ouch!!! You already know why you are creating mishaps. What message in your life are you ignoring??? You KNOW the answer.
Love,
Blue

Sending good thoughts out for your friend.
Getting bit on the foot or toes ALWAYS hurts. I've been told, more than once, that our feet are the roots of our health (or something along those lines... hard to translate from french.) If your feet hurt, it means something else is wrong in your body. Maybe your dog was trying to tell you something...

I hope and pray all is well with your friend, Kate.
Ouch! Toes/nails are so sensitive - that must have hurt terribly. Hope it's just a bruise and will heal quickly.
Are you doing a heart book? I've been working forever on one and still haven't quite gotten it finished - I needed to be reminded to get back to work on that - thanks for being the messenger! Can't wait to see how yours turns out - I hope to have mine sent out FINALLY in the next week or so, and then I can show it after the person gets it.
Blessings to you~xo
