Taking Flight

I love this book! It came in the mail yesterday and I love it. Its perfect for a beginner and those of us who have already started. Its part class and part encouragement. She has guest artists and projects and many of them I do not know so its wonderful meeting new people and seeing there work and learning new techniques. I loved hearing Kelli Rae's story and she writes very well. Its very encouraging and has great advice on staying on the Artistic Path. I highly recommend it.

You have really been going to town creatively! Journal pages, backgrounds and such AND your lovely well appointed studio. I showed G the stamp shelves your D made - I need some bad so now he has the idea what they should look like.(especially with the plexiglass)

My poor prayer flags basically disintegrated and now I need to replace them. I love seeing them blowing in the wind outside.

I stopped buying art books for now as I am running out of room for them. I can't see the image of the one you're talking about but it sounds good!

Create on!!

p.s. long comment, but tried to get it all in one.

Woo hoo! My book came this week too! As an old lady I am having trouble reading that script, but if I put on a lamp right over my head and put on my "cheaters" I can just about make out.

I look forward to trying some of her techniques. Bubble wrap - imagine that.
