My self portrait looks a little misty today.
My order from Dick Blick arrived, yippee. After seeing an article in Cloth Paper Scissors using gouache watercolors I wanted to try them. I bought a set of 24 and they are really nice. I love the intense colors.
I tried out my new gouache paints last night and I really like them. This bird is the result.
This is a pick of 2 collages that I did a little while ago. That is enough for today.

I've been wanting to try the gouache paints, too. The bird looks great! I guess Dick Blick is going to get another order!!
I am with Janet, I haven't used his
gouache paints. Your bird is lovely, so I may give it a try.
Lately I have been just posting a news letter and now a Journal. Taking care of Arney is busy work. Also he gets bored, so I watch old movies with him. I usually post at night after he has gone to sleep.

Is that sweet misty smile a result of getting new yummy tools from Dick Blick ? Gouache is great amd so are the Caran d'arche - such juicy color !
