Monday

Its a bright Monday Morning and yes its still hot. I know some of you have been experiencing this awful heat wave, those of you who aren't please enjoy the cool while you have it.

Slowly but surely I am healing. I still have a lot of pain so I am on constant pain meds so that keeps me truly in a fog. I can walk fairly well and can get in and out of bed by myself but no bending, twisting or lifting. As for sitting, I can only do it for short periods of time. It looks like the computer may be fixed but who knows.I will try and keep in touch.

I have been knitting and reading and doing a lot of sleeping. I long to be in the studio doing something creative. Its downstairs so my goal this week will be to get down there and at least make a little art.

The heat must be on the move 'cause we're a little cooler here.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Just take it easy....that studio will still be there!

I think the heat is over this side of the states because it's hotter than a firecracker over here in Washington.
So glad to hear that you are still doing well.
Have someone bring you some paper and watercolors so you don't have to go down to your studio. Sorry :) just a thought.
Oh yeah...and don't forget the glitter.

I am glad to know that you are doing better. Wish there was more that could be done about the pain though. I wish that people just never got pain. I know what pain is like and can relate.
I know how you must miss the studio as you have said. I hope that you get better quickly. :) You are always, always in my prayers Kate. :)

We've been cooler the last couple of days, but they're predicting the temp will go back up again today - I hope they're wrong!

We've been having internet problems for the last 3 weeks - finally ours seems to be working again, too.

Sending you healing, get well thoughts, Kate. xox

Hi Kate! I've not had internet (except a few moments at a time from wayward signals) for a little while. I didn't know about your surgery. It's good to hear you're healing and wanting to make art.

Sarah did a great job guest blogging!
