Well I guess I will join the group of generous souls out there giving away their art. I'll be making 2 - 4" x 4" art pieces with a Valentine theme. I will give them away on the morning of February 7th, that is next Wednesday. That will give us a week to get them to you before Valentines Day. Just comment on my blog or send an email if that doesn't work. You can comment every day if you like and your name will go in the drawing.
I first heard about this from my friend Lisa, she gave 2 pieces of art away on her blog. This all started with a lovely lady named Sandy at Art Tea Life Its a HeART give away celebrating gifts from the heart for Valentine's Day. I have seen contests all over the net. What a fun way to celebrate the holiday. I haven't made the art yet so pictures will come later.
I told Sarah that many of you liked her cranes. She doesn't read my blog but the few times she has I have had a surprise for her that she found out about. Once again it happened. I didn't think she would go look or I would have told her not to. She knows I was making her a blanket cause she helped design the warp colors. Its just been on my loom forever since I was having weaving problems and then health problems I don't think she thought she would ever get it. She doesn't know I was working on the blanket, I wanted it to be a surprise. I guess I should give up trying to surprise her, she always finds out somehow.

OOOhhh lucky me I'm the first to visit. Please put my name in the pot. Um, being the first, does that make my chances any better? LOLOL
Fuggeddabouddit , Judie! I am now in the running! Kate, I love the cranes! cool!
Hey, Kate? How are you? Please put my name in your drawing...btw, we are eating tonight with another friend name Kate!
Just found your blog, I was on Judie's...read through it all, you have a lama, and you can weave, and you have a garden with rocks.I love it! I'm working on an area in the back, trying to make a flower, rock garden, you want to get rid of rocks, I want to bring in rocks.I'll be back.
What a neat idea. (Almost as neat as the cranes. I wonder, if I start now, could I knit enough to cover my sukkah come fall? (Knitted cranes would be reusable. Origami ones would die after the first rain.)
Just left a comment above - but just in case you're only drawing from here - count me in!
I would love to enter your draw.
The cranes are really neat - I made a bunch of them once, but I didn't use nice paper like that.
ok I could SWEAR I commented here and now I don't see it....I hate when that happens! Consider me entered!!!!!
XOXOXOX
Oh, can I join in the draw too, please? I'm a fellow glitter sister over on Violette's message board. I'm Anna on blogger and Claire (my real name!) on typepad...
