Here Dave is unhooking the roof so we can look in.
Inside we find the male sitting on the nest. We sure hope there are some eggs underneath him. Its kind of exciting like we are the proud parents waiting for the babies to be born. This story will continue....

Kate..you live in such a great NATURE spot! This is so exciting!...I found another Gopher Tortoise injured..so I took him to the Conservancy!
That is SO cool! Hope the eggs hatch and the babies fly the coop when the time is right.
I will be waiting for the big event!
